Illegal possessions in Manali to be Demolished
The shopkeepers in Manali who been caught running their firm from an encroached land belonging to the Nagar Parishad in Manali. The Nagar Parishad in Manali demolished a dhaba and also the other illegally constructed buildings within the town limits. The shopkeepers who have been following up the business in the disputed land have received the notice from the city court to completely move the shop whether the shops are temporary or permanent.
The demolition drive was taken upĀ by the concerned officials even when the notices issued by the court were neglected by the business persons. They have been filed a case against crossing the norms of town and country planning and encouraging the illegal land development in the city. The Manali Nagar Parishad executive officer VK Sharma reported saying that they are on a demolition drive pulling down the buildings which has been black listed in the middle of the town first. The shopkeeper’s illegal possessions have been already removed from the town.
