IMC to collect garbage management tax
After a series of controversies and acceptances, garbage management tax in Indore is again in news.
Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has again started the collection of garbage management fee in the city.
The civic body already has to gain a total of Rs 2 crore from various hotels, gardens and hospitals.
This is the second time, first campaign being initiated few years back.
Around fifteen chief sanitary inspectors (CSI) and five food inspectors will be incharge of the well being of the initiative.
Till date, a total of Rs 70 lakh has been collected as against the target of Rs 3 crore.
