Indian investors going for investing in second property
Real estate continues to remain top option for Indian investors. Capital appreciation, rent and protection from inflation drive real estate investment and citizens go for second property for all these advantages.
A recently conducted survey in Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune, Chandigarh, Kochi, Coimbatore and Jaipur shows that out of 1,430 respondents, 33 per cent say are of the opinion that they do not see any slump in the Indian real estate market. About 35 per cent are unable to comment if the real estate market is witnessing a slowdown.
Despite facing the slowdown from in 2008-2009, real estate market in India bounced back and is now witnessing a price hike.
High rental yields, appreciation of the invested capital amount, financial security and family requirements seem to be the primary reasons behind going a second property.
