Indian Land acquisition Act demands a Fair Enactment
Land acquisition Act was framed in the year 1894 which was framed to provide justice to the people accused in land cases. However its been decades now and the act needs to be immediately re-phrased. The act no more provides space for rehabilitation of individuals displaced from their own land and intern their livelihood is being affected badly by the compulsory acquisition. New Delhi, Justice R.M. Lodha reported saying that they have also been witnessing many such cases every year and the act seems to be bearing fruit no where to the land owner’s interest.
