No Comments Sub Category:Legal,Realty News Posted On: Nov 08, 2011

Land acquisition Act was framed in the year 1894 which was framed to provide justice to the people accused in land cases. However its been decades now and the act needs to be immediately re-phrased. The act no more provides space for rehabilitation of individuals displaced from their own land and intern their livelihood is being affected badly by the compulsory acquisitionNew Delhi, Justice R.M. Lodha reported saying that they have also been witnessing many such cases every year and the act seems to be bearing fruit no where to the land owner’s interest.

He also added on saying that the illegally acquired land are being left barren for years together and the simple reason for such kind of cause is that the prevailing decade old act is serving no purpose legally. The illegal land dealers are very much sure and smart enough of the after consequences and henceforth have no fear under the eye of law. The amendments is to be done at the earliest to avoid land mafia being spread across. Land owners also say that the rules for Land acquisition Act should be framed in such a way that the individuals should fear and respect for the same. Land owners hope the government of India considers this as a serious issue and do the needful for them.
