Infrastructure Development is not upto the mark in Himachal Pradesh
The Himachal Pradesh high court has directed the state government to submit its report regarding efforts made by them to improve the condition of roads in the state.
The road construction work taken by the government is going on a very slow pace. The residents of different areas are complaining about the same.
The court has also directed the government to submit its progress report on construction of Theog-Kotkhai and Jubbal-Rohru roads. While the company engaged in the construction work has assured the court that the work on the 31-km road will be completed by May 31, 2012, except for construction of bridges and drains.
The officials of PWD are also directed to submit the complete report regarding the road projects going under their supervision.
