InfrastructureDevelopment in Greater Noida
Due to so much infrastructure development, many experts are now saying that Greater Noida has over shadow the developments in other NCR cities like Gurgaon and Faridabad. In Greater Noida so many multiuse residential and commercial projects are starting. Greater Noida is located in Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh has developed so much and has sustained in news for emerging as desired real estate location for investments and use.
Sectors like KP3, KP5, and Tech Zone have welcomed industrial set-ups in the vicinity located near India Expo Mart. These places are easily connected via the Yamuna Expressway. There is also a proposal to expand the Metro rail, from Dwarka-Noida City Center to Pari Chowk, which will provide direct link to Delhi and other NCR areas.
Mr. Rama Raman, chairman and CEO of GNIDA, says that there is a proposal of a fast 60 Km Metro line, which provides the direct link to the IGI airport. This route will connect Greater Noida via Bodaki, Pari Chowk, expressway’s Sector 93 to Badarpur and Chhatarpur.
In 2021, this fast Metro connectivity is expected to start. The average speed of fast Metro will be 90km per hour. The project will be helpful for 8 Lakh passengers who are expected to travel every day. The work on this project will start soon because UP government has already given approval to Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). The authorities of Noida and Greater Noida have started to raise fund for this project.
GNIDA is focusing to establish its own power plant to provide 24-hour quality power supply. A 315MW power sub–station is too started in March whereas the construction of a pipeline from Dehra to Greater Noida via Upper Ganga Canal is partially complete. 85 cusec of water, Greater Noida receives from this pipe line.
Major Land Bank
Developers of the area are being attracted by the big land bank of city and some of the developers are bringing the idea of novel concepts in engineering, design, and amenities to drag buyers from India and abroad. Greater Noida is spread over 36,000 hectares. As per the draft master plan, 58,000 hectares will be included to the existing area, for this, 188 new villages have been included in Master Plan-2031, whereas in Master Plan-2021, 124 new villages are to be added. Due to this the total area of Greater Noida will increase to94, 000 hectares over 324 villages. It is assumed that the land requirement for future developments will achieve in next 20 years.
Upcoming Infrastructural Projects
Proposal for GNIDA’s administrative block cost Rs 300 crore in KP-4 on 8 Acres. A medical college with a facility of 300 bed hospital in Gautam Buddh University over 511 acres along the Yamuna Expressway which is costing Rs 500 Crore is planning to modify the facilities with more 50 beds. Also there is a proposal for a convention centre—a mini-Connaught Place—in KP-3 on 31 acres a heliport on 25 acres in KP-3. A 33KV sub-station which works on the night safari park and the 1,483 km-long DMIC to restart. The night safari park has planning a new project costing around Rs 102 crore
