Inspectors looking up for land for building an IIM
District collector N Yuvaraj on Wednesday inspected the Andhra Bank School of Management building, which was recently constructed on the Andhra University campus, as a likely venue for housing the Indian Institute of Management, Vizag.
The collector went all round the 20,000 square feet building and inspected it thoroughly. According to AU authorities, a full-fledged team of experts was expected to come to Vizag soon to decide on the location of the IIM campus.
The decision was airing around regarding setting up an IIM in Andhra Pradesh and recently there have been investigation in the process to set up the so. The authorities have been taken a look into the various lands that are available for the setting up of an IIM.
This looking might go on for some time however it is being stated that they have located a land for the requirement to build up an IIM. This work will however be taking some time as permissions and other details need to be looked into before the decision gets finalised.
