Investments up to 10,000-cr attracted by UP in 10 months
Delhi- Lucknow the capital of Uttar Pradesh has in the past 10 months attracted investments worth Rs. 10,000 crore into different sectors under the Samajwadi Party-led Uttar Pradesh government.
According to a higher official, the state government attracted a total investment of about Rs. 10,000 crore within the past 10 months through various sectors. It is believed that the investments were attracted either by acquired land or actual work on projects. Also there were developments on infrastructure and industries.
The sectors which generated investments are dairy, petro-chemical, beverages, petroleum,food processing, steel and more.
The state also has an array of upcoming projects like new units by Amul apart from their work. The firm is also developing a textile park near Fatehpur, leather units in places like Kanpur, Sandila ( Hardoi) and plastic units in Auraiya.
The firm has also initiated a bidding process for the Lucknow International Cricket Stadium which will be started shortly.
Not just this, the state government is in talks with renowned Bollywood stars like Sanjay Khan pertaining the development of the theme park in Agra. This theme park will be constructed based on the ancient and medieval history and will attract large number of tourists in Agra.
Looking into the IT developments, the official also stated that there are discussions regarding the initiation of HCL inventing the skill development centre along with other firms.
