Lands in the region of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expessway are expected to become much more expensive soon. This was announced by the authorities who declared a 10 to 15% hike in all the categories of land. According to important sources, there will be a joint board meeting in June 2014 and the main issue of concern would be to ink the spike in the rates of land allotment. This hike is about to take affect within June itself.
There are several other discussions that will take place during this meeting. Some of them are the proposed Metro route expansions which have been pending for quite some time. The Metro link which is 30 kilometre long stretches between Noida and Greater Noida will be back on track once the board gives its approval. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)’s appointment has also been approved off by the urban ministry as a consultant for this important project.
There are other infrastructure projects which are pending as well. Some of them are elevated roads in Noida, a stable yard for the establishment of a Metro line between Kalindi Kunj and Botanical Garden. All of them will be back on track once it has been approved of. Farmer issues concerning the possession of land will also be addressed by Yamuna Expressway and Greater Noida. Benefits such as land compensation and solution to abadi issues will also be offered.
