Last chance for revocation of cancelled allotments in Chennai

The Tamil Nadu Housing Board has announced to give buyers a final chance to pay their due payments for the property allotted to them. In a press release, the Housing Board had cancelled the allotment of land, apartments and individual houses to buyers who have not paid three monthly installments consecutively.

The government has given a chance for the buyers to apply for revocation of cancellation before June 20. Government has set a revocation committee who will consider the applications based on the Housing Board’s guidelines and its decision will be final.

In the case of buyers, who do not apply for revocation, the properties in Chennai and other places in the state will be sold through a public auction.

The notification has said that the “applications may be sent in to the concerned Executive Engineer and Administrative Officers of the Division Offices of the Board and also to the Head Quarters of the Housing Board.”
