L&T grabs Rs 3,700 crore order in Qatar
The transportation infrastructure business of L&T Construction has grabbed 3,655 crore order from ASHGHAL, State of Qatar, for design and construction of Al Wakrah Bypass Road in the Gulf country.
As per statement, the scope of work consist of construction of11km road of 10 lanes and four future lane sections roads. The open way provides access to the existing and planned construction via five major interchanges consisting of 20 bridges, 13 bicycle overpasses, eight vehicular underpasses, three pedestrian bridges and 736-metre long and 32-metre wide vehicular tunnel works.
The statement reveals that the company will also handle road furniture and other related utility works for potable water, treated sewer effluent, drainage, electrical, intelligent transportation systems, irrigation and landscaping.
