Maharashtra Government to boost up Mumbai City Infrastructure

Mumbai soon to be modernized with nearly 60 billion dollars investment to be made by Maharashtra government over the next 20 years. Also the modernization project will be taken initiative by the public-private partnerships and city is expected to grow rapidly in infrastructures like; transport, power, tourism industries and in residential projects. Ratnakar Gaikwad, Chief Secretary of Maharashtra reported saying that, this initiative has been taken into consideration for holistic development of the entire Mumbai region.

At present the population in Mumbai city is estimated to be more than 12 million and its also a fact that this region is world’s most densely populated cities in India. Nearly 40 percent of the project will be completed in accordance with the public-private partnership models and the remaining 60 percent will be taken initiative through the guidance of the government agencies. Mumbai is soon promised to be one of the best infra-structured city in India. The residents of the city are expressing happiness with the initiative taken up by the Maharashtra government in collaboration with the private entities.
