In the recent times, with the mall culture expanding throughout Bangalore city, the life of these vegetable vendors and footpath shoppers has turned miserable!
With the launch of “Mantri mall“, the mall culture started in Malleswaram locality.
Now, with the launch of “Orion mall” namma BBMP is busy excavating the street side shops who are vegetable vendors, petty shop owners.
The raise of mall culture in Bangalore is said to be putting an end to the vendors who were hardly making money for their survival!
The president of Malleswaram Market Flower and Vegetable Vendors’ Association opposing the clearance drive has reverted against BBMP for not giving prior notice.
