Mary Kom and Maria Sharapova as mascots to sell homes
New Delhi- Builders will never get tired of trying their tactics on home buyers. At a time where the home sales are quite slow, builders have come up with new concepts like roping in the renowned figures like Mary Kom and Maria Sharapova to sell their homes by having a boxing academy of Mary Kom in a gated community with Maria Sharapova endorsing it.
Mary Kom and Maria Sharapova are not the only sportsmen, but also Michael Schumacher who has been a brand ambassador for projects. All this is done just to attract the investors and increase the bookings.
Apart from this, there are various projects by builders with unique features like India’s tallest water fountain and a polo theme for an apartment complex having ample amount of space for horse riding. However, builders feel that these new tactics will work due to the names especially in an obsolete market.
Supertech launched a project having a boxing academy by Mary Kom at its 100-acre upcountry township project on the Yamuna Expressway, near Noida. Similarly, Gurgaon-based Homestead launched the Maria Sharapova Tower in Gurgaon at a huge premium followed by a similar project with Michael Schumacher in Gurgaon.
