Matters of Illegal construction sorted out by BMC commissioner
In order to deal with the problem of illegal constructions, Sitaram Kunte who happens to be the BMC chief will come up with a new policy. The chief minister Mr. Prithviraj Chavan gave away this vital piece of information on Thursday. This incident has occurred in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. A committee has also been organized in order to scrutinize the issue. In fact, they have been endowed with quite a bit of responsibility.
It is now the duty of the committee to see how actions are being taken against these illegal constructions. A system will be designed in order to handle all the procedures so that so that permissions can be given for the construction procedure to begin.
The committee consists of several important members. The BMC Chief, municipal commissioners of Thane, Primpi-Chinchiwad, Pune and Ulhasnagar have also been included in this. Apart from that, the commissioner of the MMRDA and the CEO of MIDC are a part of the committee too.
It seems that the government’s decision in this one is because of the present condition of the Campa Cola case.
