MCG comes up with development plan
The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) showed signs of progressive actions as they prepared a development plan with a cost estimate of Rs. 25 crore.
The project includes damaged roads, sewers, drains and other and for developing the areas under its jurisdiction the MCG sub-finance committee held an urgent meeting to clear estimates prepared by the engineering wing.
The MCG commissioner, along with other senior officials, inspected several localities and instructed the concerned officials to fix potholes and clear choked sewers before tenders for development of these areas are floated.
The state government recently questioned the civic body regarding the slow pace of development in the Gurgaon area and subsequently developmental works of various localities have been discussed in meetings between the MCG commissioner and other officials.
