MCG on war path with illegal encroachers

1 Comment Sub Category:Municipality,Realty News Posted On: Dec 07, 2011

Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) is busy waging war to completely eradicate illegal encroachers from the city.

In the recent demolition drive, MCG removed several shops and jhuggis along Tikli road in Badshahpur.

Residents of Gurgaon submitted this issue to MCG commissioner Sudhir Rajpal to eradicate illegally encroached land.

This mess was resulting in daily prolonged traffic jam. MCG immediately sent a police force and warned the illegal occupants to clear up the mess immediately.

Excellent. All the encroachments should be removed ASAP. This is a great trend – Gurgaon should not make the mistake of Mumbai – which pretty much is now one giant slum.
The series of high rises coming up they are great- but with 60% of Mumbai covered in slums – the effect pretty much wanes!! All slums shanties and encroachments should be removed quickly.
