Metros sparkle in the list of unsold flats!
Metro cities has seen a slow down in demand in the residential realty sector in the recent times.
This is due to the fact that there has been a lot of hike in property prices and rise in interest rates.
According to a report, Delhi-NCR has topped the list of unsold flats at 102,758 units, Mumbai being second with 90,512 flats followed by Bangalore with 46,596 flats.
Pune came fourth in the list with 40,734 units.
The slump in sales is due to many attributes like high property prices, rise in interest rates, less demand, etc. There are also other indirect factors like late approvals from concerned department, problem in land acquisition and many more.
