Minimum wage causes tension among construction companies
Those companies and private developers who refuse to pay minimum wages to their workers will face cancellation of licenses. After seeing large number of breaches of the minimum wages order, the government of Delhi has come to a conclusion all companies will pay their workers through cheque or electronic cash transfer.
The labour joint companies have made it an appointment to make sure that all orders have been complied with. All transactions that occur between the employer and the employee will be verified. This will happen after the license under the contract labour act of 1970 has been renewed. The licenses will be cancelled if there are any kinds of violations seen.
A 90 time period has been allotted for all the employees to make sure that there is payment of wages for all the construction workers. A checklist has also been made in order to make sure there is compliance at the time of issuing of the certification of registration and license under the Contract Labour Act.
Just in case the contractor does not possess his own website, all important information will be uploaded on his website by the most important employer until the contractor makes sure he has uploaded everything necessary on his website.
