More than 30 lakhs apartments are unsold in Maharashtra
According to the Census Directorate of Maharashtra, more than 4 lakh unsold apartments in Mumbai are available.
The data has revealed the actual scenario of the real estate in Maharashtra. As per the records more than 3.7 million houses are lying vacant in the state.
The number of the empty flats have been increased to 10.5% than the previous record of 8.5%.
Though the builders are not accepting that they have any unsold apartments, but in reality they are not reluctant to sell the apartments at lower price.
There are lot of apartments lying vacant as they were purchased by investors from outside of India.
