MP gives his statement against ex CM
The government of Maharashtra told the legislative council on Saturday itself that the police station at Marine Drive had taken down a statement from Mumbai North East MP Kirit Somaiya against three chief ministers along with two other serving ministers who were accused in the case of Adarsh.
One of the politicians of BJP named Somaiya had also registered a complaint against the accused in the early part of this year. In one of the replies of the home minister, P R Patil has mentioned that Somaiya had launched his complaint on the 1st of January.
In the month of January 2011, there was a two member judicial commission set up by the state government in order to carry out an investigation. The commission was started by a high court judge named Justice J A Patil along with the member secretary NN Kumbhar.
Since there were around 182 deposits in the last two years, the final report was submitted by the commission in April by the state government itself. In the month of December, the report was disclosed to the public and around 25 illegal allotments were highlighted. This also includes 22 other purchases made by proxy.
