Mumbai Builder Fake Promises to Flat Owners in Wadala Highrise
The builder of Mumbai city had promised to provide best amenities to the flat owners in a Wadala Highrise and has never seem to be aiming up to fulfill the promises henceforth the builder is now asked to pay Rs 6.07 lakh. The Central Mumbai District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum has ordered Green Developers and Consultants to pay each of the flat owners to pay Rs 76,734 added on with 9 percent interest and also an additional fine of Rs 10,000 for causing disruptions to the property buyers.
All the flat owners sent a legal notice to the builder in terms of seeking the money they had invested on the property. Meanwhile the builder was found not responding to the notice or even attempted to pay back the investors money. Henceforth the flat owners lodged a complaint in Mumbai District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum. The forum committee also helped the investors in taking consideration of the documents provided by the flats owners. Investors are still on hope and meanwhile also relived with the helping hand from the Mumbai Consumer Forum.
