Mumbai ranked as the dirtiest city in the world
In a global survey of 40 tourist cities, India’s commercial capital, Mumbai has been ranked last in the “cleanest streets”category.
Mumbai has been named as the world’s ‘dirtiest’ cities. It is not at all surprising that one of the Indian cities has been ranked as the dirtiest city in the survey.
The survey was done based on the reports of more than 75,000 people who wrote recent reviews on those cities.
The categories used to rate the cities were best for shopping, friendliest taxi drivers, ease of getting around, best public transport, safest city, friendliest locals, best taxi services and best value for money.
Out of 40 cities, Tokyo grabbed the first place in the list of “cleanest streets”, according to TripAdvisor’s Cities Survey.
Mumbai has also ranked last in the category of “ease of getting around”, where as Zurich managed to take the first place.
The survey found that Moscow city has the least- friendly locals, worst shopping, dirtiest streets, and the rudest locals.
Tokyo ranked number one for best public transportation, cleanest streets, best taxi services, friendliest taxi drivers and safety. Tokyo was the most decorated world city.
New York city ranked 28 out of 40 for cleanliness and it was among the top shopping destinations.
