Municipal Corporation of Delhi worried over collapse of Old City Buildings

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has been issuing court orders to submit the records inspected over the structural safety of the old city buildings in Delhi. Delhi residents was yet to recover from the recent house collapse and meanwhile the similar incident happened wherein a heritage old building in Chandni Mahal area surrounding, Jama Masjid was collapsed a day before. Nearly five people have lost their lives and 21 people were injured due to the three-storied heritage building collapse. This collapse happened due to the construction work of digging happening in one of the adjacent buildings to this heritage building.
Harun Yusuf the Food and Civil supplies minister in Delhi reported saying that this act was expected to happen as the MCD was never bothered to get the safety check of the old city buildings done frequently even after receiving the orders by the government in concern. The additional DCP Aslam Khan reported saying that the investigation has been happening over the builders permission from the government to construct three-storied buildings. Now that the MCD has planned for the meeting with the officials to discuss over the constant collapses of the city old buildings.
