Naglahar plots to be cancelled
Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri while addressing the Himachal Vidhan Sabha said that the government would cancel the industrial plots in Naglahar (Raja Ka Baag) in Nurpur Assembly segment as certain owners had not set up their units there for the last eight years.
Replying to queries raised by Nurpur Congress legislator Ajay Mahajan during the Question Hour, Agnihotri said many units had come up in the Naglahar industrial area which earlier had 102 hectares land, out of which only 15 hectares were available now, which the Ministry of Environment and Forests had cleared.
He also said as many as 135 plot owners had not set up the units in the past eight years of the allotment. Having spent an upwards of Rs 1.7 crore on development of the area, the government plans to cancel the plots.
