In an evident effort aimed at overhauling the infrastructure at Jaulke and Gonde-Wadiwarhe industrial belts, the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has initiated a survey of both the industrial belts.

The surveys will help MIDC proposed the revamp of infrastructure at both the Jaulke industrial belt in Dindori tehsil and the Gonde-Wadiwarhe belts in Igatpuri tehsil. At the two industrial belts, a number of small, medium, and large industrial units have come up on private land.

On the basis of the survey, the MIDC will soon seek the State Government’s approval of the proposal pertaining to infrastructural requirements of Jaulke and Gonde-Wadiwarhe industrial belts on private land. The proposal will primarily include infrastructural requirements like roads, streetlights, water and power.

Going by the details revealed by an unidentified senior MIDC official, the survey of the Jaulke industrial belt has been completed, and the MIDC is presently working out a proposal related to the infrastructural requirements for revamping the industrial belt.

About the Gonde-Wadiwarhe industrial belt, the MIDC official said that it will be surveyed next week. The official also added that, in the coming 2-3 weeks, the MIDC will submit the proposals of both the private industrial belts to the industry department of the State Government.
