NBCC to offer new housing projects across the country in coming months
In the coming months, a number of new housing projects will be offered across the country by the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC). In addition, the company will also working on plans to redevelop three government colonies in New Delhi as “green complexes.”
About the new projects to be offered by NBCC across India, the company’s CMD Anoop Kumar Mittal said – during a recent press conference in New Delhi – that the company is already working on residential projects for general public in Gurgaon, Khekra (near Delhi), Patna and Kochi.
Mittal also said alongside that NBCC – which is a government enterprise under the Ministry of Urban Development – also plans to launch new housing projects in Ghaziabad and Kolkata, as well as second phase of the project in Alwar.
With regard to the expected timeline for the completion of some of the projects, Mittal said that the housing project in Patna is likely to be completed in six months; while the completion of the housing project in Gurgaon may take nearly two years.
Meanwhile, about some of the other housing projects being planned by NBCC, the company’s officials have revealed that the company also plans to build apartments in Faridabad. In addition, some more projects are also probably being considered in a few other states including Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
