NCRPB approves Greater Noida master plan
The Greater Noida master plan has been approved by the statutory committee of the NCR Planning Board (NCRPB).
The developers in Noida Extension said that the construction of residential projects which were put to halt could be resumed. They are waiting for the committee’s recommendations to be approved by the board.
But the farmers are disappointed with the decision. They plan to oppose the construction unless their cases in Supreme Court will be disposed of.
The chairman of the Supertech Group, R.K. Arora, expressed that they are buoyant that construction will start in another 15-20 days. The group has three projects, Eco Village 1, 2 and 3 in Noida Extension, offering around 25,000 housing units of which 1,200 units are already sold out.
He revealed that since the land and construction costs have gone up, the cost to the buyers will increase by 50 per cent.
