New Industrial Growth plan for Telangana- KCR
Telangana’s new CM K Chandrasekhar Rao who was sworn in on June 2 has already charted out a new economic agenda for the newly founded state. Attracting investments and creating further employment is his main focus and his ministry which will soon come out with a new industrial policy which will safeguard the interests of the industrialists.
Hyderabad is known as the pharma and poultry capital of India. KCR said that his government will soon initiate discussions with the heads of pharmaceutical, poultry and real estate companies and work out a long-term formula to develop the baby state of Telangana.
KCR also announced an incentive plan for the state government employees which are the first of its kind in India. He emphasised that his government will be employee friendly and consider the working class as a partner in progress. Industry and services sector will be the major economic growth inducers in Telangana.
The undivided state had shown Rs 18,600 crore surplus in its budget in the last fiscal. However now the bifurcated states may face financial challenges. If the TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) government is able to work out a robust financial strategy, then the growth will be phenomenal in this industry rich new state.
