New laws made for building cinema hall in Chandigarh

On the 18th of June, the government of Chandigarh finally sanctioned the bylaws of the building which were amended earlier. This was done for the purpose of regulating the construction of cinemas. The floor area ratio shall depend upon the area of cinema that has already been approved. The width of road has also been counted in this manner.

Anil Joshi who happens to the local body minister has mentioned that under the Punjab Cinema Act of 1952, all the rules stated shall be used for all the cinema halls which have been sanctioned. The Act also states that land located at the municipal boundary shall be converted to a multiplex soon. According to him, the rules would be applied only on those particular cinema halls which already have already received the master plan notification recently.

According to Mister Joshi, who has already considered the stagnant growth of the economy has recently stated that the department has made a decision to make the recent tax policy less stringent. This will be done for all those people who have been recognized as real estate developers.
