New Rule for construction of apartments in AP
The Andhra Pradesh Government has revised the rules for construction of apartments in the state. The new rule is prepared to encourage the construction of apartments with adequate space for parking and other amenities.
The Andhra Pradesh Building Rules 2012 will be applied to all municipal corporations, municipalities, panchayats and areas under the urban development authorities.
The rule will not allow any construction of residential apartments near water bodies, railways, electrical lines, airport, defense establishments and heritage structures.
The high rise apartments must be accompanied with wider approach roads and the plot size should be more than 2000 sq mtr.
