NH-139 over bridge leads to inconvenience because of delay
Because of the delay in the works of construction of an over bridge located at Chain pal level crossing on NH 139 on Talcher-Baranpal road has lead to quite a lot of problems to all the commuters.
On the other hand, the works of construction which was kicked off in the month of August in the year 2010 and was scheduled to be completed within a period of a year and a half, have been hanging fire for about four years in total.
There was quite a lot of discontent most of the local people since there had been a delay in the matter of construction and that led to traffic jams on both sides of the road. In order to cover the stretch, the vehicles had to wait for hours.
It was also said once that those who will have the opportunity to pass from Barnapal Chhack to Talcher and even further, they will have the most horrible experience in their entire lives since they will be stuck the traffic congestion for hours.
It will take a total of 3 hours just to cross this 12 kilometre long road when it could be covered within half n hour. Sometimes people are left here stranded for hours at night because of the insane traffic jams.
