Noida Extension Builder had no proper clearances
The authority and other departments like Fire department confirmed that no Noida Extension builder had sought NOC from it till date. “Though some builders had visited the department about their Noida Extension projects, till date nobody has submitted papers for NOC,” said chief fire officer Mahavir Singh. Builders, however, claimed that they started construction after getting necessary approvals as per building bye-laws.
“Builders in connivance with authority officers started construction activity without getting proper clearances. They were expecting status quo by showing the constructed building in the court. But their move was foiled as the court gave priority to farmers’ interest and quashed the land acquisition,” Kisan Sangharsh Samiti representative Dalvir Singh said on Saturday.
Normally as per bye-laws for any construction such as group housing projects, one has to submit the plan to fire department stating the fire safety measures incorporated in the building plan,” said chief fire officer Mahavir Singh.
