Official booked who cleared the Robert Vadra’s deal
An FIR has been lodged this Tuesday at the Sohna police station for the different sections for cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy of Indian Penal Code against eight employees of the state revenue department. An assistant consolidation officer (ACO) is also accused in the case for assumed indiscretions of mutation of land related to a village called Rozka Gurjjar in the district of Gurgaon. The following sections are section 420 for cheating, section 463 for forgery, and section 1200 for criminal conspiracy for which these employees are charged.
Dalbir Singh, the assistant consolidation officer, is the person executed the mutation of the much controversial deal between the Congress chief president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra and a real estate giant DLF in the year 2012. On Monday, the ACO was suspended with four other officers who were found responsible in this case.
Mr. PD Sharma, the district revenue officer (DRO), said in his complaint that they accused some villagers by adding their names in the land records on the basis of fake documents and registered the mutation as well. All this was pre-planned and done according to the orders given by the higher officials. The police also said that according to the grievance registered, the accused person actually tried to tinker the land records and registered change without any permission of the real land owner. The Joint Commissioner of the crime branch of Gurgaon Police, Vivek Sharma, further added that he has posted the Station House Officer (SHO), Sohna Road, as the new special interrogating officer to look after this case.
He also assured that proper investigation will be done with the help of records to solve the case.
