One year old building waiting for opening!
A building which was constructed more than a year in West Tambaram Chennai is yet to see its inauguration.
A total of Rs 4.5 lakh was spent on its construction which is located on Second Street, CTO Colony, in Ward No. 32 of Tambaram Municipality.
It was built to house a fair price shop which is currently present in a building belonging to the residents’ welfare association.
The current shop meets the requirements of around 1500 card holders and is situated in Krishna Nagar on Mudichur Road.
Tambaram Municipal authorities have claimed that due to some delays and rent not yet decided, the building could not be used.
