Oracle to open offices in state capitals
Oracles is thinking of having branch offices in all the Indian state capitals as a part of the plan to enhance the business while some of the larger competitors deal with the problems of their own. Oracle officials said that they are growing in India and they think that with the manifesto of the BJP that is focusing on the technology are going to see the increase in spending on IT.
They further stated that they are planning to have a branch office in all the state capitals. The aforesaid was stated by Sandeep Mathur, the managing director of Oracle India. Presently the company of Oracle has offices in the five metro cities and in places like Pune and Ahmedabad.
Mathur declined to give a timeline for the expansion but it stated about the company’s goal. The company has been growing steadily in India over the past few years. In the 2012-2013 quarter the company grew its revenue of 15 percent to Rs 10,590 crore according to the Dataquest Top 20 making in the tenth largest technology company according to revenue in India. This way oracle is going to enhance their marketing system.
