Palam Village to be connected with expressway soon
HUDA has recently started towards the construction of a railway bridge which is about 1.3 kilometres long. It is located on the Gurgaon-Rewari rail track and crosses the Northern Peripheral Road. According to reliable sources, the bridge is about to be completed during the first quarter of 2015. This will help in easing the flow of traffic between Palam Vihar along with Delhi Gurgaon expressway.
The project which is supposed to be executed by the Railways as well as HUDA is going to spend a large amount of money on this project. B D Yadav which happens to be an official of the HUDA has mentioned that the construction of the bridge would be divided into two phases. The first phase which includes a 900 metre stretch crosses over the railway line located near the treatment plant named Basai. During the second phase, the 430 metre stretch which is left shall be constructed by the railways themselves.
Yadav has mentioned that the project is being taken seriously and that 15% of the 900 metre stretch has already been completed. The Railways haven’t released the tender so far but there are expectations that this will take place soon.
