Passbook for property tax payees

East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) is planning to issue passbooks to payees to retain all property tax within its range and keep property tax payers’ records up to date.
A proposal in this regard was put forward in the Standing Committee meeting by MK Ahuja which was approved by other members.
Ahuja also proposed that all the property tax payers should be given unique number which will be mentioned in passbook as account number. The proposal also includes the license holder of different trade should be given a passbook.
