Phase II of tax collection in Kochi begins
Second phase of the tax collection in Kochi has started recently.
Kochi Corporation has hopes of achieving the Rs 100 crore target for the current financial year.
Out of Rs 100 crore, around Rs 45 crore was being collected in the first phase of Aug- Sept 2011.
The main share of the collection will be from property tax, professional tax and rent.
It has started in the zonal office in Edappally.
The payer will be provided with a form in which all detailed tax report will be given for his interests.
