No Comments Sub Category:Bangalore,Cities,Civic Issues Posted On: Jan 22, 2013

Plastic roadA method that can be acquired in solid waste management is to scientifically re-use the thrown away plastic by using them for the formation of roads, said a solid waste management expert.

The expert said that everyone should know the value of the waste in order to make the society waste sensitive.

The Karnataka government must encourage roads made up of plastic in Bangalore, like it is done in Tamil Nadu.

After the Tamil Nadu CM saw the roads made up using plastic as raw material in Salem, she decided to make it mandatory that 1000 km road in her state must be made out of plastic. Un-mixing the waste is the basic lesson to follow. Many students have gathered to participate in the work shop on waste management.
