PMC Patna to issue tenders for outsourcing sanitation work
Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to issue fresh tenders for sanitation work in the city.
All the 72 wards in the city will be covered for the same.
Till the tender is passed, the civic body will continue with collecting garbage with the help of 5000 permanent sanitation workers.
Previously, a company called A2Z Infrastructure was clearing garbage for 9 wards but discontinued as PMC failed to pay the dues.
Then the civic body took the task to itself. However, the residents were not happy with the sanitation work making them issue the tenders for outsourcing an organization for sanitation work.
