Political interference in ring road project
Political interference continues to deter the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA)’s drive to take possession of land for the ring road project.
As the civic body gears up to start construction work and take possession of land for the project after September 14, the Bagrana area near Agra road has become a cause of worry for JDA.
A source in the civic body said that a senior BJP leader has directed not to take possession of land in the area forcefully. The JDA has to take possession of the land from housing colonies having approximately more than 600 houses on the 1-km patch in Bagrana on Agra Road. According to JDA planners, if houses in the area are not possessed, they can disturb the alignment to a huge extent.
The possession for land for the construction of the ring road project has led to political interferences of some sort. The civic body is helping to start the construction work in this area. The JDA has helped to take the possession of the land so as to start the project.
