Project approval in Hyderabad will be done online
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has planned to introduce online application and approval system for building application.
With this movement the building permission approvals will just be a click away. An IT firm is providing the software where scrutinizing and approval of building plans will be provided online.
Several civic bodies of Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram, Nagpur, Bangalore and Chennai have already started implementing the online system using the software.
In the old process, the applicants have to submit the building application manually along with blue prints of drawings on paper. The manual checking takes about two to four months for checking those plans and providing approval.
After the implementation of the system, the approval process will be reduced to one week. The projects in Hyderabad will be benefited with the system. If any plan is found violating the construction rules, the system will automatically reject the plan stating the exact reason for the rejection.
The authority is also working on making the necessary changes in the software as the construction rule is different in Andhra Pradesh than other states.
