Comments(2) Sub Category:Bangalore,Cities,Realty News Posted On: Jan 18, 2013

Property investmentKarnataka government may offer incentives for projects outside Bangalore (Tier II and Tier III cities) in order to take the pressure off  Bangalore, which is considered the most preferred location for investment purposes.

With an intend to promote healthy and balanced regional development of the state, Karnataka government aims to offer incentives for investors putting up industrial units in other cities.

Chief Minister has asked the Department of Industries and Commerce to come up with tax concessions or incentives for investors opening shops in tier-II and tier-III cities, north Karnataka and backward regions of the state. They are planning to encourage the investors to set up industries in other places rather than Bangalore city.

The State government is ready to accept the proposal as they also want to see a balanced and healthy industrial development in the entire state. The Chief Minister is worried about the accusation of agriculture land for industrial projects. He stressed that only areas not fit for farming would be bought out for such units.
