Property tax collection drive by BBMP
BBMP has started collecting property tax from April 1 for the fiscal year 2012-13.
Online mode of payment has also been introduced and can be paid on by logging on to http//www.bbmp.gov.in.
Even credit and debit cards can be used for the same. A rebate of 5% will be given to those property owners who pay their tax on or before April 30, 2012.
All the BangaloreOne centres and BBMP help centres are the venues for the tax payment and receipt will be given on the spot if amount is less than Rs 15000.
There are two dates to remember; May 30 is the last day for paying tax for the first half and November 29 for the second half.
