Property tax defaulting to end soon
If you have missed to pay your property tax, do it at the earliest. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) tax inspectors are all set and ready to knock doors of defaulters to collect tax dues. MCD officials claim this as the last resort to collect tax from these defaulters. According to the data collected by MCD, close to 13 lakh property owners are yet to clear their property tax payment dues. The action plan of the MCD inspectors is to compel the defaulters to pay their taxes kept pending for ages. In a bid to give the defaulters, a last chance of escape their names will be updated in the newspapers and online. In addition, a doorstep campaign is to be held soon to ensure the pending tax is collected.
