Provident comes up with affordable housing in Mangalore
Provident Housing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Puravankara Projects is planning to launch an affordable residential project in Mangalore. The project is spread over 4.15 lakh sq ft and comprises of 324 units.
The name of the project is Skyworth, the property is located at Derebail, near Konchady, on the airport road, which is well-connected to Mangalore’s prime intersections and national highway. Residents can enjoy panoramic sky-vistas from the apartments.
A higher official said that, the project is expected to get good response as the properties are priced 25-30 percent less from what the competitors are offering. The project consists of two bedroom and three bedroom apartments with size ranging from Rs 1,091 sq ft to Rs 1,377 sq ft. The price of the apartment falls in the bracket of Rs 39 lakh to Rs 49 lakh (prices are inclusive of open car parking).
The project Skyworth offers various modern amenities like club house, party hall, swimming pool, multiple sports facilities, super market, landscape garden and indoor games.
The construction cost is higher in Mangalore as the hilly piece of land had to be leveled, said the developer.
The company has already launched affordable housing subsidiary in 2008 which has its presence in the real estate markets in Chennai and Bangalore. The firm is also planning to launch more affordable housing projects in other cities like Mumbai, Mysore, Coimbatore, Pune, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Kolkata and Jaipur.
