Public Private Partnership to boost the development of low cost hospitals
‘’Acche Din Ane Wale Hain’’ (The good days are here) was the main mantra of the BJP campaign. Looks like the CM of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav has taken it seriously and has planned to set up low cost hospitals at all districts of U.P under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.
In a meeting held in Lucknow, the Chief Secretary Jawed Usmani has directed the officials of the health department to do a complete end to end project planning to set up low cost specialty hospitals in each district. The main focus will be that the ‘’aam aadmi’’ or the common people should get world class medical facilities in rural India.
This project has a tight deadline of one month for planning and the execution should start immediately. The team also wanted to discuss the progress in construction of super specialty hospital in Lucknow, and since the progress were found satisfactory, the officials were asked to sign the deal with the construction company by July 31. Akhilesh led U.P Government is all set to help the poor and the needy who have been neglected for decades in India.
