No Comments Sub Category:Realty News Posted On: Oct 10, 2011

The Public Works Department (PWD) in Delhi has got a financial assistance for investing on the short term traffic solutions for the narrow two way flyover all over the city. The Rao Tula Ram flyover is soon to get proper traffic maintenance and crash barriers are also to be installed soon to avoid traffic chaos. One of the senior PWD officer reported saying that even after the financial approval for long term traffic solutions have been implemented and meanwhile the consultant for a traffic survey is yet to be appointed and they have got financial sanction for short term measures and final decisions are to be made by the traffic authority of Delhi. Also the divider to bifurcate the two lanes of the flyover is also on plans and will be soon come into existence.

The flyover constructed as part of the Commonwealth Games projects rated Rs 59.6-crore has now become a narrow two way structure ending up with a major traffic mess in the outer Ring Road. These flyovers that connects NH-8 to Vasant Vihar are being frequently complained by the commuters over prolonged traffic jam during peak hours. Also same situations are prevailing from Delhi international airport and Gurgaon to south Delhi. However this flyover claimed to ease traffic connecting the main city roads. As usual the commuters have only come up with an alternate solution to avoid traffic chaos in the city.
