Pune and Bangalore are being the front runners in the real estate sector amidst an otherwise gloomy atmosphere on the realty front. The two cities have witnessed significant number of launches, boosted by quicker approvals and consistent demand from home buyers.
Intriguingly, markets in Pune and Bangalore are different from one another. The cities have seen sales in two completely different price categories.
Pune saw huge demand for small homes at low prices, primarily on the outskirts. Pune outskirts are home to a series of launches mainly due to its proximity to Mumbai. There has been a steady level of launches of around 3 million sq ft a month.
